We’re creating the healthcare technologies of the future and we’re seeking an exceptional VP R&D to lead our skilled team in Ukraine and Israel.
THE POSITION
We are looking for an inspiring tech leader to join our management team. This individual will play a crucial role in our mission to simplify and digitalize people’s access to medical treatments
The VP R&D will manage our development team in Ukraine (40 employees).
We use technologies such as Angular, PHP7 + Symfony, Yii2, Nodejs, Linux, PostgreSQL,MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, AWS based services and more.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a key member of our management team.
- Lead, grow and aspire teams of software developers and QA engineers In East Europe and Israel. Taking care of all their technical and soft-skills aspects.
- Responsible for the delivery of high quality and on time projects and products. Report directly to the CEO, and Work closely with the business and product teams.
- Define, monitor, improve and execute software development processes with frequent interaction with ourIsrael & Europe based product management team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years of experience in R&D managerial roles, ideally within teams of similar size (35+ members), with a preference for previous experience as a VP R&D.
- Previous experience in managing remote R&D teams / groups, preferably from East Europe.
- Technical knowledge and ability to perform hands-on tasks with full-stack development.
- Proven expertise in Agile development methodologies, such as SCRUM, coupled with a track record of building high-performing and highly-scalable teams.
- Experience in enterprise-scale application development in cloud/SaaS environment
- Experienced with microservice / event-oriented design and development – an advantage
- Experience with B2C, user journey mapping, and familiarity with startup environments are highly advantageous.
- Overseeing the entire product life cycle – end to end.
- Russian / Ukrainian Language – a huge advantage!
