As a Senior UX/UI Product Designer – Team Lead, you will:
- Manage and mentor the career growth of 5 mid-level designers.
- Guide the design process and promote best practices in craft and collaboration.
- Identify friction in work processes and actively lead efforts to improve how design, product, and engineering work together.
- Lead hands-on discovery to identify user pain points and translate insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and oversee the transition from initial wireframes to polished, developer-ready UI.
- Validate design decisions using behavioral data, usability testing, and stakeholder feedback to iterate rapidly.
- Contribute to and evolve our Design System to ensure visual and functional consistency across all touchpoints.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Developers, Content writers and Data Analysts to ensure design precision through the entire sprint lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you need:5+ years as a Product Designer, ideally within a fast-paced tech or startup environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, complex user journeys, dashboards, or mobile apps that solve real-world problems.
- Deep understanding of Design Thinking, Lean UX, and how to balance user needs with business goals.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
- A solid understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and how your designs translate to code (HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus).
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, Mixpanel, Clarity or Google Analytics.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile frameworks.
- Experience in managing a team of product designers.
